By car
Nordens Ark is situated 20 km from Smögen and Kungshamn by road 171, 120 km north of Gothenburg and 200 km south of Oslo. From Gothenburg: Follow road E6 to Oslo, follow the signs Nordens Ark (Kungshamn, Smögen). From Oslo: Follow road E6 to Gothenburg, follow the signs Nordens Ark (Kungshamn, Smögen).

By bus
There is a bus stop next to Hotel Nordens Ark. För For timetables contact Västtrafik.

Parking
Parking at Nordens Ark is free of charge, but a voluntary charge is welcome.

Cars with dogs in them
If you have a dog in the car there are some shadowed parking spaces. Do not forget to lower the car window to give the dog some air. However, Nordens Ark recommends that you leave the dog at home while visiting the zoo.

By boat
Nordens Ark is situated at the farthest end of Åbyfjorden. We do not have a guest harbour but you are welcome to spend a night at our bridge. The depth at the bridge is 2 - 3 m and the fjord offers good anchorage.

Please respect that it is not a guest harbour and that there is no showers, toilets and garbage bins.
